National Conferences

The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India has been organizing conferences in various parts of the country to meet and deliberate on important issues of Mathematics Education, particularly at school level. Besides the usual inauguration, valedictory functions, there will be endowment / memorial lectures on applied mathematics, methodology and history of mathematics, group discussions, exhibitions, recreations in mathematics, paper presentations, students sessions, Distinguished Mathematics teacher awards, cultural programmes and visit(s) to places of historical / mathematical interest. This apart, the hosts have the privilege to include some more items depending on the time frame. The life members will pay delegate fees at concessional rates. The AMTI is pleased to invite you to participate in its 46th Annual Conference, scheduled to be held at

Vidya Prathishtan, Baramati

27th to 29th December 2011

It is a panoramic campus of 156 acres housing 23 institutions in an artistically carved out landscape creating aura and décor for academic interaction on ancient Gurukula patterns with modern amenities.

Constructivism in Mathematics

The conference provides a good opportunity for delegates to present papers, exhibit mathematical models, participate in group discussions etc.  

Details of final programme will be made available only for those who register as delegates.

Nature of Participation:
Papers for presentation may be about four to five pages of A4 size. Presentation of the paper and participatory discussions should be precise, relevant and are subject to the time limitation prescribed by the chairpersons for the various sessions. Soft copy of the same may be sent and brought for presentation.
