8TH- THREE DAY TEACHERS’ WORKSHOP

(Notice to Send) 

Dear Sir/Madam,

As in earlier years this year also we propose to conduct FOUR DAY WORKSHOP for teachers in concept clarification, innovative strategies of introducing concepts and introduction to Non-Routine Problem Solving.

The dates of the workshop are MAY 24th TO 27th 2012, 9-30am to 4-30pm.

Tea, Lunch and supply of a book will be provided by us. To meet these expenses and pay honorarium to the resource persons it is decided to fix a sum of Rs. 950/- per candidate for the workshop as day visitors.

2. Diophantine equations

4. Modular arithmetic

    1. Principle of inclusion and exclusion
    2.Pigeon hole principle
    3.Permutations and Combinations
    4.Recurrence relations

If the prospective candidates want any specific concept other than these, to be clarified they can inform in their application clearly the same.

 

For outstation participants (limited number only) dormitory accommodation inclusive of breakfast and dinner at Rs. 500/- extra, per person for four days, will be chagred.

May we request you to remit the sum in cash, (for local) or DD (for out station persons) to reach us latest by 10th April 2012, so that we can plan to go ahead with the workshop.

We hope and trust that with this exercise the number of Olympiad aspirants will increase bringing glory to themselves and to the institutions of their choice.
